NO IV PACKET GIVING AT EMBASSY, EB2 NIW. USCIS WANT IV PACKET BEFORE I GET MY ACTUAL GREEN CARD.
Hello all,
I entered the US last December with EB2 NIW (consular processing). I did not received any IV packet from the embassy because the embassy said it will be sent electronically. On my visa there’s an annotation “IV DOCS IN CCD”. I have not received my actual Green Card, I contacted USCIS and they send me this….
“A search of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates that USCIS has not received your Department of State issued IV Packet, which should have been submitted by the Port of Entry (POE) when you entered the United States. USCIS requires a completed Immigrant Visa Packet to process your Permanent Resident Card (PRC)”.
Anybody with similar experience, please help. #Actualgreencard #EB2NIW #Consularprocessing #IVpacket #USCIS.
My Jorney to Immigration approval
As an immigrant navigating the often complex and stressful process of securing legal status in the US, I recently experienced a range of emotions when I received my approval without an interview. While I am grateful for this outcome, my journey was not without its challenges.
One major hurdle I faced was with my medical forms. I had double checked multiple times that they had been received, only to find out that the USPS had lost them. This was a frustrating setback, but I didn't give up. I contacted my doctor and was able to get an original copy made and sent via UPS to ensure they arrived on time. This experience taught me the importance of being proactive and following up on critical documents.
Another key factor in my approval was expediting my case. I had to do this twice, as the officer requested evidence of necessity for my I-765 and I-131 forms. While this added some extra stress and uncertainty, I was determined to do everything in my power to speed up the process and ensure that my case was reviewed as quickly as possible.
Overall, my journey to immigration approval was challenging, but it taught me important lessons about perseverance, attention to detail, and taking action to overcome obstacles. I hope that my story can serve as inspiration and encouragement to others who are navigating similar journeys. #gratefulforeverything #Eb2NIW

EAD alone or combo card
I was wondering if most people are getting combo cards or EAD/AP separately. I just saw that my 765 status changed to “card is being produced”‘but 131 is still showing “case received”. not sure if I will be getting combo or just the work permit. I know that USCIS started to issue them separately last year in an effort to “speed up”’the process but I still saw people posting they got combo. I am curious to see what the trend is now- thanks for any insights!

Finally, great news!!
Thank you so much for all the help and support along the way. I am from Turkey. RFE was on Prong 1 and 3. I was challenged by the notorious officer 0214 (Nebraska). I did not give up though. As two years passed, they requested medicals again and that was the RFE for I-485. Good luck everyone! #eb2niw #publicpolicy #sustainabletransportation

EAD Update
After 5 months of submitting my fingerprints, my EAD finally says case was updated with biometrics. All other document updated with biometrics except my EAD (i-765).
After updating biometrics on your EAD, how long did it take before y’all got your EAD approved and in your mail?
I have less than 2 months remaining on my current work permit and I am thinking of finding ways to facilitate or there is no need
thanks #eb2 #eb2niw
RFE deadline confusion
I applied to EB2 NIW Feb-28 and got the receipt Apr-12. But Nov-23. I received RFE from USCIS showing the deadline Feb-23/2023. Does USCIS extension policy apply to my case as well? can I consider 60 days additional to reply after the deadline stated on the RFE letter?#RFE #EB2NIW
