I am on the same boat, I sent my I-140 to Nebraska in Oct 2020 and still pending. I submitted I-485 EAD and AP in April 6th and had biometrics appointment in June 9th. Nothing changed since then. The expected steps would be; EAD and AP decision and after that interview. However, seeing the randomness of many of the timelines I’d say it is pretty difficult to know when those steps would materialize.

what about yours? that’s why I thought it was so weird that I got biometrics before appproval

I filed on Nov 2020 and still waiting for ead in TSC, however NSC has faster process.. wish you all the luck 👍

no way… did you do the biometrics? this is terrifying. I thought Texas was actually the fastest one damn

Have yoi guys ever checked Trackitt? They have a pretty nice dashboard to see the cases in the database. i also look here to see cases appoved in both centers: https://www.wegreened.com/eb1_niw_approvals

yeah we have noticed that VC data (link) is getting approved in fast way comparing to other attorneys.. but at least it could give an estimation as I believe the process becomes random of many timelines.
Y
Yoke BoarJul 31, 2021
no I haven’t seen the other two sources, thank you for showing them! ag are you saying that some lawyers have a way faster timeline than others?
A
A GJul 31, 2021
not pretty sure, some folks noticed that VC attorney (link) has recent and fast dates approvals.. but the process looks random nowadays.. based on some telegram groups for TSC whom filed in june-july-aug 2020.. started to get thier results nowadays

A GJul 31, 2021
I do have a colleague who filed in TSC in may 2020, and have received an RFE last month.. so looks that’s the range.. keep in mind that for TSC, not sure if NSC is faster/slower

oh wow are RFEs common even for NIWs? my friend got hers without any RFEs I think — what kind of questions do they even ask?
A
A GJul 31, 2021
well, it depends since they review case by case.. some ask for lack of recommendation letters, some ask for an opinion letter from an expert in your field and so on..

got it, YeH I provided that in extensive details so praying there won’t be any delays

basically petitioning to start a company that I want to launch and so that’s why hoping process doesn’t take long
A
A GJul 31, 2021
that’s nice.. fyi- I have read before some petitions regarding start-up, one was denied due to lack of sufficient money in bank account.. just came to my mind to share if that may help.

hmm but the whole point is to raise money from vc and I have references for that. The funds requirement / release of info is no longer needed as it was removed by Biden

Hello buddies, I'm new here and your post and comments are really enlightening for me. I need some help, please. I applied for i-140, i-131(advance travel document) and I-485 concurrently in June 2021 under the EB2 NIW but just knowing about the I-765 (employment authorization) now. 1. Can I still apply for I-765 2. Would it cost a filing fee? 3. How many months did it take you to get advance travel document and or employment authorization after filing?
