be prepared to wait not less than 9 month. people from October 2020 are still waiting

I don't think it matters as it's different for a lot of people, there's really no formula to it and uscis just doesn't care. People have gone from filing to EAD and GC in hand in 4 months without expedite, some get Biometrics appointment in a month while others wait more than 5 months. Regardless you should call uscis and ask about it.

honestly I had to expedite to trigger biometrics. if not I would still be waiting, I’m a match filer too. now my ead has been approved. apply pressure else you will wait for long

call the uscis contact number and say INFOPASS this will allow you to talk to a life agent

Yann a lot of time they use your old biometrics (if you have applied for EAD) in the past. However they never change the status so the only way to know if chat to a live agent via EMMA CHAT or call the USCIS customer service number (say “Infopass” or “Technical Difficulty” to get to a live agent fast) and ask them about your biometrics. Thank you again for this awesome infor, I just did the expedite request base on Emergency and urgent Humanitarian reason. For now I will keep my finger crossed and update you in case of any changes.

Hi guys I just received an email from USCIS saying that the expedite request was denied. may be I will request another one again after some time.

use a Congress person, that’s how I got mine approved. Pd March 18

I check the house rep list, you put in your zip code, it gives you the one for your area. go to the persons website. submit a form asking the person for help

my case, the caseworker got back to me after 3 weeks, I signed a privacy form then 2 days later she emailed me telling me they will work on it, same day I got new card being produced

I hope you’ve done your bio at least. my first expedite triggered bio, second went unanswered. that’s when I used the Congress woman

damnnn seen new applicants getting bio after 30-90 days. call uscis and ask for a call back from a tier 2 officer to find out why.
