Vermont Service Center
Does anyone have any success story with Vermont Service Center? Could you share? Should I be any hopeful with the current processing time change for US citizen filing for spouse?

I'm wondering myself... my case is going on 21 months, no approval, LPR filing for spouse

I thunk it depends on the country your spouse is from also

I don't think so... I believe once it's at USCIS stage, it has nothing to do with country. once it goes to NVC stage then it has to do with your country. I don't know. and I think USCIS is deliberately not approving cases because all NVCs already are backlogged and they don't Wana add to it.

I think it’s country honestly because I know Europeans get their stuff in 3 months and Asian countries take years for the same application types. I think it’s a country quota thing and certain countries they vet differently. Certain countries also have higher divorce rates (Russia/Brazil, Columbia) certain countries have arranged marriages that required more rigorous vetting etc. Look at naturalization for example, if you are military it’s 2-4 months and rightfully so. The is also a big difference in a lot of the posted processing types… by over a year in a lot of app types. Personally speaking if I’m interviewing someone from Canada marrying an American, it’s probably love but if it’s someone from the Philippines… is it love or is it papers? and that’s why we have 751 now

I never really thought about all that... it could be then... I didn't know honestly... that's clearly being bias though...

For US citizens you will have an answer sooner then not being a US citizen
