travel within USA
hello, i just recently got my travel document approved, however, my i-485 and ead are still being processed. with that being said, my mom and i are planning to visit our grandma in chicago on january. am i permitted to travel? if so, what documents do i need or any processes i have to undergo to travel? thanks

you can travel anywhere as long it was not outside the country.

@gojo yes foreign passport is ok for US domestic travel. my husband travelled recently and we are still waiting for EAD/AP too!

nope. I been traveling a lot before even I don’t have my green card with me.you just need your passport. green card is needed if your traveling outside the country like going to Mexico or Canada.

you need green card if you want to travel outside the country. but if within the country (USA) foreign passport is fine if you don’t have real ID.
