no response after rfe for i 485
hello, I submitted rfe for I 485 under eb1 on July 6. it has been 100 days and I still have not gotten decision. when I ask Emma they say it’s within normal processing time. my application is in my local office San Jose. app shows I am number 3 in queue since more than 10 days and nothing has moved. don’t they usually have to reply within 90 days?

it took them 6 months to get back to me after RFE only when I filed a SR to inquire about my case, after which they sent me a second RFE

I raised a request with Emma as I heard no reply on receiving rfe. I just got a reply on that confirming that we have received your rfe and will are looking into it. this reply came on oct 6. so not sure what more I can do?

nope,, had send more proofs of marriage for mr husband and send some tax return ds docs for myself.

@Apurva Any update on your case? I’m on similar lines as yours. More than 100 days after RFE response filing still no update on case. Chicago Field office.

my I 485 application just got approved 2 days back. so I am expecting my card anytime now.

@Apurva, Congratulations!!! .. So you submitted RFE response on July 6th 2021 and got approved now on March 05, 2022? Did they ask you any other document in between? What are all the requests you raised from your end during that time? Can you provide some timeline please. I’m in similar boat. Thanks in advance.

yes, the timeline is correct. they asked no other documents in between. I just raised normal service request.
