Which country are you from? was your Greencard based on marriage? if yes, did you file N-400 under the three year rule?

Nigeria. 3 yrs marriage based filing.

What was the reason for denial?

Alleged not paying tax since becoming LPR due to misunderstanding of requested documents. However, I've forwarded all tax transcripts of tax paid as at when due up till 2020. Apparently, I mistaken tax return form for tax transcript. Whereas, they requested for tax transcripts or tax return form with W2. In my response I ssent tax return form, thinking is same with tax transcript, which is option I chose between the two. Since tax return form option must be with W2, which I did not attached, they deemed my submission as incomplete documents, hence denial and assumptions that i did not pay tax.

I appeared on December 10 2021, but the officer still wanted to study all my documents. Two months after I made enquiry, they said my case still pending. Last month, my congresswoman petitioned them, they responded by requesting for more 90 days, notably asked the congresswoman to revert if I do not hear from them by June 8.

No. The denial was affirmed. I reapplied new N400 in 2023 and attended interview in December. I'm still awaiting decision till now. it's crazy.
