medical expedited
I am a us citizen filling for my spouse who lives overseas my I-130 was documently qualify back in October 2020 with NVC and I was just waiting for a date to be scheduled. but since then my circumstances change and I expedited my case back in July 2021 and finally the Jamaica embassy just accepted the case for processing. can anyone tell me the next steps and what’s to be expected.

yeah I said the same thing… since 12 days ago still haven’t heard from them but they said it could take up to two week before it reach the embassy and then I guess a little time for them to look into it…. and no he didn’t do his medical yet waiting for the date so we won’t be wasting money because medical last but so long before you have to do it again with updated yearly shots I sent it to NVCExpedite and then they sent it off to the embassy

I did expedited July 30th and heard back 2 weeks ago and since then nothing nvc says it could take up to 30 days before you will get approved or denied for your case to go to the embassy then when they do accept it it could take 2 weeks before they will get it in front of them then they will review and if approved they will send you a date… I am on the waiting game for the date so I am not sure what’s next but that what they say
