thanks h p, applied for Vawa March 2018, originally applied 2016 went for an interview with my ex hubby but he withdrew the petition few months later and I was abused emotionally and I went through a lot. my vawa was approved June this year and my I485 in some days

@Temny oye I just received update that my i485 , is ready to be scheduled.. my interview is also under vawa, if you don’t mind could you tell me what questions you were asked?

@ville k, when did you file your I-485? how long after your I-485 was transferred to nbc you received ready to be scheduled for an interview?

I filed in March 2021, my pd is March 18, so roughy about 8months, I got the update this morning to be scheduled for an interview

the interview went well, my lawyer didn’t arrive on time, I went in by myself though I was asked if I wanted to wait for her but I said No. the IO asked my name, date if birth, my parents name, divirce decree, if I have a child their birth certificates, I had two after I got divorced. my address and yes/no questions. after everything she gave me a white copy that she couldn’t make the decision now cos of background check that when it’s cleared they will mail me a decision. After 10mins leaving the place, my status changed to card being produced
