sai reddyOct 17, 2021
did you consult a lawyer for this? I read online it is more risky to do it in Mexico than in India
mx rockOct 17, 2021
can you share the link you read? no we did not consult with lawyers but some of friend got visa successfully from Mexico and they mentioned that it is more quick than home country. Do you mean any conflict between USCIS i539 application and F1 visa viva? please response in detail little bit about the risk.

yeah so I’m pretty sure it was just a comment on like a Facebook post but I don’t know much about it. I also know of someone who did an emergency F1 visa appointment in Mexico cause they were aging out of their h4 visa. And yes I am wondering if the I-539 will have an effect on the interview
mx rockOct 17, 2021
the f1 and I 538 is handle by two separate departments. simply you can withdraw your I 539 before traveling. then there is no issue. we lost funding two times due to USCIS delays, when we applied processing time was 6-9.5,now it is 13-17. we are mentally depressed
mx rockOct 17, 2021
they are increasing time in every months
s
sai reddyOct 17, 2021
I totally understand I am in the same position as you. my case is pending for about 354 days now so I too am thinking about going to an interview
mx rockOct 17, 2021
we also took emergency schedule on December, there is no normal schedule this year. you can expedite the schedule very easily. they did for me within 7 hrs
mx rockOct 17, 2021
just write then and explain the situation. they are much more better than this USCIS
mx rockOct 17, 2021
we wasted all the time with this USCIS and now regretting
s
sai reddyOct 17, 2021
was a sooner appointment not available
mx rockOct 17, 2021
we got initially appointments on June,2022, then expedite the viva date, it was expedite within 7 hrs. what ever date I wanted councilor provided me that date of interview
s
sai reddyOct 17, 2021
what was the reason you said to get them to expedite
mx rockOct 17, 2021
funding loss and school start date
F kOct 17, 2021
hey guys lets talk about Mexico
F kOct 17, 2021
is it your home country or how do you do it?
mx rockOct 17, 2021
no, Mexico is not my home ground but you can always give visa viva in 3 rd county , it is not a problem
prakki sravaniOct 26, 2021
@mintu Miah..Are the interview and biometric slots available for Mexico consular processing..?do you have any idea..?
mx rockOct 26, 2021

@md Mintu. how did you get appointment? I have contacted them and they said they do not offer for third country. Third Country Nationals: Routine appointments for applicants not ordinarily resident in Mexico are not available at this time. Any applicant currently residing in the United States who seeks to extend their legal stay should contact U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services here .
mx rockDec 14, 2021
@ Salam, I do not exactly why you contracted with them. their online system is allowing to get the visa schedule for 3 rd county. we got the emergency appointment . we also not from Mexico. lot of people are taking the interview schedule. let me share with a group, they can help you for all info

any updates? did you expedite?
mx rockMay 2, 2022
our case approved on December 13, 2021. we send letter directly to USCIS to withdraw the application by December 10 or approve! they approved instead of withdraw the application

congratulations @Md! when did you send the letter? was there anything special about December 10? was it your one year mark?
mx rockMay 3, 2022
we send the letter on December 1st, 2021. there was nothing special. we were waiting for long time and lost the funding two times. Then we got the visa interview in Mexico on December 19. This was the reason to send the letter to USCIS either approve or withdraw! Thanks
