did you mention that you were in removal proceedings on the application? if your court date is near I would use that to expedited my case. because if they approve it before the court date then u can use the approval to ask the judge to discuss your case and have it handle by uscis instead

you don’t have a court date yet Bc ice have probably not file the case yet at the immigration court for you to have a court date and see the judge and if that’s so then you are not yet in removal

great how Long did it takes

the whole process from when my I-130 was approved is 9 months Bc the court were closed from COVID

@ CJ how if the judge dismiss your case you don’t need no interview from uscis

yes when the judge dismissed your case you can choose to file for your gc with uscis instead so it won't take too long. u just have to send the dismissed notice with your application to uscis so they can see that you are no longer in removal proceedings

interview for my I-485

the judge terminate my removal that USCIS file against me but I still need to adjust in front of USCIS for my green card

mine is different I do everything in the court and my i485 interview also after that the judge send me the granted letter and then I go to uscis and my GC

yes you can adjust in front of the judge or ask the judge dismiss your removal and you adjust with USCIS Bc with the courts it takes longer sometimes

CJ so how long will it take ICE to file the case with court for me to have my court date. How do I even go see a judge if I have no court date. this is so frustrating.

you can’t see the judge without any court date and if you don’t have one yet then you are not in removal yet.I don’t know they are just taking their time I guess

And that is not good Bc they either sent the case to court or dimiss it before your I-130 is approved

@ S c if your I -130 is approved before then you can pertition the court asking for the judge to give you a closer hearing date due to approve I -130

@S c don’t worry if it’s not approved by then the judge will still give you more time until it’s approved. He or she will prostpone the hearing again to a future date

ooh ok I'm still looking for a lawyer and I haven't send in my i130 yet I'm waiting for my husband to become a citizen cuz he has his oat ceremony next month so I was advised to wait until after he get the certificate and I also have my tps case pending so by then I'll have two cases pending
