Don’t you have to wait for i730 to be approved and then wait a year before filing i485? If no, could someone share details on how this works? Thanks!

Sofie Morris. Applying to i-485 requires one year after getting asylum approval. you can apply for i-730 after getting asylums approval directly.

Right, I forgot that i730 could be filed both when you are included in the application and when you are not. Thanks for clarifying. In the second case you can only file i485 a year after i730 is approved. In the first case the date of case approval is the one taken into account
