me and my wife have a pending i130 and she just renewed hey tourist visa with no problem. she took her lease and emplyement letter, they took the paperwork but didn’t pay much attention to it, issued visa same day. she had no problems going into the us, they just asked her if she had anything pending she said the i130 and they let her in no other questions. I think that as long as you can prove intent to return to your home country they don’t have an issue giving you a tourist visa. good luck!
