Good Reason to Expedite EAD?
Hello, my Husband filed his I-485/EAD about 4 months ago (Based on a K1 Visa) He began to have a lot of jaw/teeth pain so we took him to the dentist and they said that he has 4 impacted wisdom teeth. They gave us a referral to get them pulled but the oral surgeon said it would cost $2.5k and no health/dental insurance plan has been willing to let him on because he doesn't have an SSN/Green card. I can't afford the surgery. He said that it's fine and he's willing to hold out and hope he gets his EAD soon so we can afford his surgery but that doesn't sit well with me. Could this be a reason to request an expedite? And if so... If the expedite were to be denied, would that impact our pending cases?? Thank you so much for reading!!!

@Destiny forever I'm located in AZ and his cases are being processed at the NBC. Apparently there's a 6 month waiting period for wisdom teeth removals on insurance because it's considered a "major procedure" ... :(

@Paige K Thank you, if they deny the expedite request would that mean they may also deny the EAD?
