Going to stay oversea with wife
Hi Ive filled form I130 and I310A Feb 3 2022 online with BirthCertificate, Marriage Certificate, passport picture, bank statements. They gave me receipt notice March 28 2022. It has been a long 10 month wait and still nothing. all it say is actively review. I message them every other two weeks for an update or if hey need more evidence to prove but still
nothing. We are planning to just stay overseas until they decide will that affect my case? Also if anyone here filled online and has a group chat please let me know. starting to lose hope here

why would you message them every 2 weeks.... they take over 1 year to review an i130 your just wasting your time. wait for them to decide your case and only contact them if your out of processing time.

yes although I feel your pain, it will take at l was at a year. when you say you stay overseas I assume you don’t mean in the US. I would be very careful of overstaying on a visitors visa with a pending i130.

I'll assume that you are a US citizen, and there is no issue with you crossing the border.
So the answer is no, it will not adversely affect your case. In fact, it will serve as evidence of your commitment and dedication to the marriage.

I’m doing the same. If I don’t see any movement on my case by the summer, which I doubt because I only applied in November and I see people waiting a year or more, I’m going to move overseas for a year with my husband. We have a 2 month old daughter he has yet to meet in person. I really hate this process.
