GC INTERVIEW
I applied for my green card (I-485) about 1.5 years ago. Recently, two weeks ago I received an official letter from USCIS saying my interview is scheduled for December 18, 2025. However, when I check online and call USCIS twice , they say no interview is scheduled. Just sharing this confusing experience.I don’t know why its happening. Does anyone faced this kind of problem?

take your interview notice and went to uscis office on the date of your appointment

go to the uscis appointment don’t ever miss that day some agent on the phone they’re misleading people want you to miss that appointment

just go prepared with the letter they sent for your interview

Thanks to everyone for your comments. Even uscis representative also said same thing that if you get letter then you have to go

one more interesting thing happened.when I called USCIS to inquire about my case, I hadn’t mentioned at that time that I received the interview schedule letter. They told me that my case decision date is 25th December, which is exactly one week after my interview date. So, I informed them that my interview is on 18th December.She said if you didn’t get decision till that day , call us back

Get ready for the interview. Last week one of my friend had an interview and it was approved on the spot. And, it was similar situation like yours.
