oh wow... but its automatic renewal for another 6 months but you still have to submit your application. im worried mine as the DMV will base the renewal of my license on EAD Card.

FYI ladies and gentlemen, When renewing your EAD, they will send you a receipt notice who will extend automatically your permission to work for up to 6 more months. Please brethren, try to read carefully and each paragraph. With that being said, @Jonathan, from the day of your expiration card you could have continued going to work. @Kelly it depends on your case but if it's marriage based, you can renew your EAD for free as long as you didn't have the actual card. Others cases, you will have to pay for the renewal after the first one. GBU
