I submitted all the documents including the income documents on January 8th.

because when I try to check the case it always tells me to follow the instructions on the notice but I never received a mail after the receipt

I think I might be confused. so let me ask some questions for clarification. is your husband overseas or in the US? Has your i130 case been approved as yet or you're still awaiting approval. Just need the answer so I can better answer your questions.

he is overseas, it’s has not yet been approved so I contacted the senator then he contacted the uscis and after a week he wrote me back telling me that the have move my case from California to Potomac center

Does NVC schedule the interview or do you have to go on Jamaica embassy site and pick a date yourself ?

oh ok. well in terms of submitting income documents I didn't have to do that until after my case was approved and sent to the National Visa Center. I really hope your case gets approved soon

hey Skylae NVC coordinates with the embassy and they schedule the date for the interview and they will send you an email with the date and time for the interview.

Marcel D nice I petitioned my father on May 05, 2020 and I am at same level as you . Was approved August 2020. NVC approved my documents, first they said my income was low I add a second person. Now I am waiting on my father appointment to be schedule. he come from Afrika.

divine favor I applied for my husband On August 2020 it got denied in Nebraska because I made a mistake on I-130A. I reapplied on December 2020 still pending Now they send my case to Potomac Center. I requested expedited for military reason they denied I m still here waiting.

@marcel D, i submitted all required documents too to NVC, we have a similar case the only difference is PD MAY11 2020, uscis approved on dec 17, and NVC welcome email DEC 22, submitted all my docs yesterday, my question is, did you wait for your 2020 tax return? cause i could not wait for my W2 so i submitted what i have and gave them my 2019-2017 tax return plus W2.

I booked my mother appointment for tourist visa on August 2020 because I was due on October 22. Every month they postponed my mother appointment. They keep saying that it’s not open. no u don't have to wait you can submit your 2019-2017 returns/transcripts as long as it's before April 15. so I submitted my 2019-2017 tax transcripts and my 2019 W2 and it was accepted and approved by them.

noi A make sure you submit documents at right place. I did it online so because you don’t have 2020 tax yet you did like I did. I was making less than I am making now. they told me that the officier will make decision at the interview or I can add second sponsor to avoid delay . I add my pay check on prove of employment and I add a joined sponsor to avoid delay. they approved after 2 days. now I am waiting for appointment. and I will put my tax 2020 in my dad package for the interview.

Marcel D, our positions are synonymous. Submitted documents to NVC on January 11th and got approved yesterday (Documentarily Qualified), so awaiting interview date now in Kingston

@jnr ch, how did you found out when nvc approves the documents? is there an email sent or do you have to constantly check online?

@noi A NVC emailed me and subsequent to that I checked my CEAC website and saw it also

noi A look at the right hand section where you'll see the documents you submitted and look if there's any changes, for example, from "submitted " to "accepted"
