don't worry just reapplied. my wife and I got denied in August after stoke interview and we reapplied in after only a week and things are moving fast

My 485 was denied because USCIS claims that the lawyer did not include the right response to part of the RFE. Hence, denied! I actually agreed with my lawyer looking at the submitted documents USCIS clearly made a mistake. We filed a motion immediately in 15 days. I then took the whole package that my lawyer had prepared and added what RFE has requested like the medical package, 485j etc. and refilled myself. Did not feel like paying $3000 to the lawyer to send the already done papers :)! It’s been 2&1/2 months since I refilled and also submitted the 290b motion. To the new 485, fingerprints already applied from the old application and have a feeling that the new application is moving faster then the motion.

@a A because appeal take time, years sometimes reapply take like 5 months maximum to get another interview

@N K did ucsis send you back all your documents? I haven't received denial letter but I think my denial reason will probably be same as yours since I got 2 RFE and a week later from second RFE I got denied. I will talk to a lawyer and probably reapply. I heard that 290b is taking about 2 years right now.

I called USCIS and they said 290b motion takes 90 days and appeal takes atleast 180 if not more. My motion is already with the supervisor after the officer put in her decision. They said as soon as the supervisor reviews it I should get the decision in the mail. Now how long that takes I don’t know and they didn’t say. it’s been 66 days so far. Also, I didn’t get two RFEs. Just one and they went straight to a denial. They still have all my documents. Nothing was sent back.
