Hi Floridian, through EMMA, I had requested an expedite on my EAD. Its been 2 weeks and USCIS hasnt acted on it. My visa is expiring soon and I am getting worried. Everytime I connect with an USCIS agent, they say its pending and not sure when this request will be looked at. I needed help from this community to understand how can I get an email agent to understand the urgency of my situation?

they should send you an email for evidence request. it might take a while. ive seen people get the request right away and other take sometime but check your email and spam

You can give try to expedite through Senator or Congressman

What is your timeline (RD for 765)? They’ve started processing March cases now, mine was March 3rd and got approved last week. I’ve seen others around that timeframe get approved too. My visa was also about to expire in less than a month.. I had submitted expedite with USCIS agent over the phone in August and also requested help from my Congresswoman. The congresswoman’s office followed up with USCIS but the expedite request never got approved or denied. I believe my case eventually got processed under normal times.. But definitely try your congressman’s / senators office. Doesn’t hurt to knock every door

Narsi- was ur EAD approved for your family, too? What abt i-131?

My 131 was also approved. My wife already received her combo card. I’m still waiting for mine to arrive. The approval notices were sent for both of our 765s and 131s but not for our daughter. Her application still shows pending. @Nick, I know how worrisome this time can be, I hope you get your approval soon! 🤞 Hang in there.

I-765 and I-131 from NBC. I-485 in TSC

I did not.. not sure if it is even possible to request for a change.
