@kiki did your case move after making the case inquiry?

I expedite my i765 two weeks ago, after wait for 13 months Sent a email to ombudsman and las Thursday they aprove my case.

@ edu gonzal who approved the case? ombudsman office or USCIS? I meant Do the ombudsman office has the power to approve the case or just recommend the Uscis to approve it?

@edu thanks for sharing, I did normal inquiry, phone calls and congressman and senator. They have been saying the same thing for the last 9 months so I reached out to Ombudsman. My I-130 is just at received May 2020.

I spoke with ombudsman office. they explained to me they don't have the power to approve or denied the cases they only can push uscis to review the case because it's out of normal processing times and take the decision right away, I try to expedite with uscis several times and they never respond to me. after the office of ombudsman is involved in the case they resolve my case.

I did try to expedite my case too but Nebraska service center denied my case without even asking for supporting documents. it’s just frustrating how NSC handle cases.

I saw multiple people with same situation and expedited their cases and got approved but most of these cases are being handled by the NBC.

I highly recommend to you to contact the ombudsman. for me after waiting for more than one year, it was the desperate option but fortunately that worked in my case and I hope they resolve your case soon.

@ edu, if you dont mind ,what was your expedite reason ? dıd they ask supporting documents ? for me l am waiting for 21 months , they sent me mail in August they are actively reviewing but nothing change again

severe financial lost, my wife is pregnant and I have a several job offers, I sent to the ombudsman copy of the doctor letter fo my wife pregnancy and two job offers

himm you have enogh reasons for me there is no reason but 21 months is too much ,l dont know what to do ,their system is awful

I looked help from Ombusman. But not works. After a week they send me an email that the USCIS denid my expedite requet , they can not change the result of USCIS. But USCIS didn't give me any chance to provide the evidence. I hope Ombusman could help me to provide my evidence. But they don't. for now, find help from senator, no update yet.

@Mia, for me I have reached out to congressman and senator. Ombudsman is my last resort now.

@Mia the FO replied to them that my I-130 is pending interview schedule. The field office has no timeline for I-130s. Only has Family and Work based AOS timeline.
