could be 2020 , 2021 is toooo early

It do happen, I’ve seen people that submitted documents after I did gotten work permit and for me nothing. To be honest I take it off my mind. “The struggle is so real”.

does USCIS do updates on their sites on weekends or only weekdays

Also seen plenty of people with EAD’s processed after mine - could be successfully expedited, litigation or simply the odd case processed early to make it look like processing times are being met.

to be honest i think, current ead proceesing is from feb-march 2021 applicants.Because i got my ead today. my i756 and i131form submitted on feb18. aos based on marriage with pd:-09/25/2020. but i dont think cases from aug and september 2021 is processing now , unless its a special case or expedited.

i thought so to , Because it would be a total chaos if they just randomly pick any case to work on with out following a specific order

Mine is a standalone EAD renewal (nothing new / changed) received 03/05 and still waiting - have seen some from April being processed.
