for context, had our interview april 4th and it went great!was not approved on the spot but officer said she would update decision that same day and that everything looked great to her. she never updated anything and it still shows “interview was scheduled”.
We placed an update inquiry with our congressman a month ago and today we got a message saying uscis emailed them back about our case and said this:

The case was interviewed on April 4th as you noted.  I’m not sure why case status is still showing pending interview.  As soon as a decision is made, that should change, if not sooner.  I have asked our Supervisory officer to look into it.
