Annoyed.
Why is it that everytime I call USCIS and wait over an hour to talk to someone, the call is “disconnected” ?? I have to be getting hung up on. I’ve waited over an hour to speak to someone, I get on the line with them for two minutes before they want to hang up. I don’t even want to call back and wait again, but I need to get information on my case. Don’t even suggest the chat, all they do is copy and paste the same information and send it over and over. The chat agents need to be put on the phone to help out. This has gone on for to long. Anyone else with this issue??

Just last week I was hung up on. I could clearly tell that it was done purposely! I had to call back because I also needed to raise a service request about a mistake on the 797C that they made. I called right back and told the girl that I was in the middle of the conversation and the gentleman was starting to file the service request for me and the call dropped (Although he wasn’t, but I just said it). She didn’t ask me any questions and started the SR and gave me the confirmation #.

I had the same issue 2 days back. after waiting for 67 mins, they picked, said hello and got disconnected. After waiting for another 70 minutes, didn’t get much info on my case. If I recollect correctly, it’s the same person who came back again. We can’t do much there.

same happens to me too. whether through call or Emma, they just "disconnect"

Machine will disconnect and not let you through to an agent if you don’t have a valid reason. it disconnected me several times before I said “reschedule bio appointment”. Thos was not my reason to call, but this was the only way I got through. I stayed on the phone for 60 mins only for the agent to disconnect after talking to me for 2 seconds. Called back and the wait was 80 mins. Thank good I was able to put in a SR and got a e-mail response back from Tier 1 officer.

I found that Live agents through Emma have same ability as the agents on call and can do whatever tier 1 agent is allowed. wait time is way less and you can do it several times a day in case needed.
