765 pending since December 2021
I start getting anxious here. I-765 filed December 13 2021 and it’s still pending (concurrently filed with I-485.) I filed expedited request last week, but still no updates. Case at NBC, based on c9. Are there cases around same time, same category, getting approved out there? or shall I just wait some more? thanks.

Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application

NBC seems to be taking forever and keep adding more cases rather than getting the old ones out the wqy

same boat as y'all...I'm at TSC BTW, what was your reason for expediting... have you provided additional evidence or been requested to?

I gave them “Financial Hardship” reason due to job loss. I was able to talk to a live agent, took my info, and gave me a confirmation number that starts with T1B1.

Yes. Thanks. i just submitted a letter with supporting documents to my congressman.

I wonder what the T1B1 is for. Mine is the same.

I’ve been browsing USCIS sub-Reddit and I feel there are more approvals lately from people with received date around Nov/Dec 2021. So maybe, just maybe that our approval is coming up soon.
ed meJul 6, 2022
what does it mean receive date? when the application was initially received by USCIS for the i765?
d
dub bikerJul 6, 2022
Correct. The received date on your form I-797.

k pJul 6, 2022
my receipt date is in the exact same date as you and I’m C9 as well. I got my 765 and 131 2weeks ago.

Hello there. I was reading your post and I have the same received date 12/13/2021 and I am C9 too. I put my biometrics on 1/28/2022. Today it’s been 205 days. I am projecting we will get it in less than 5 weeks, according to all the research I have done on different sites. some says 150-210 days so we are close. in the USCIS page there is an estimate based on your case type and where is it being processed and it says 8 months. and here on this app it says that cases on our conditions (dates and type) 51% get a decision between 6/10/22 and 8/11/2022 so I am guessing and hoping it is coming!!! good luck to you all. let me know if you get it soon.

I don’t understand these guys. Your need to be on the phone every day with these guys and keep putting in expidate request. My PD is 12/6/21 and thankfully I already got my EAD and AP approved and my card was mailed a month ago which I now have and using. I feel bad for others still waiting for months and years. In my case, I had called and requested them to expidate it due to emergency travel and work. After 27 days they approved it. Now I’m in cue for interview since May 26. I called them up yesterday and an agent told me my interview might be the middle of July or early August. I’m also getting my medical done this morning. My case was at NBC too and I did concurrent filling (I485, I131, and I130). My FO is Philadelphia. Best of luck family!!

hey Dub! that’s great! I am happy for you! where did you gey the notification?
d

Case tracker app initially. Then I check Lawfully status, and then my USCIS online account. I can also see the PDF letter from USCIS that they have approved the combo card.

AJ BJul 14, 2022
great! do you think it is because you use expedite?
d
dub bikerJul 14, 2022
I don’t know to be honest. It could be because of the expedite request or it could be because it’s close to 8 months like you said. I don’t know how to investigate the source of the approval.
d
dub bikerJul 14, 2022
Actually this past Monday July 11, I received an email from USCIS asking me to fax evidence for my expedite request. I fax documents on the same day. Then it was quiet until this morning.
A
AJ BJul 14, 2022
yeah I get it. I haven’t expedited it. so I hope it is because of the time. I am really happy for you. Congrats! 🎉
A
AJ BJul 14, 2022
oh so it was maybe because of the expedite. :( I won’t lose the faith. For the expedite you need to pay $1,500 right? and you said you gave them “Financial hardship “ what did you need to show them? you did it directly or through a lawyer?
Max 221Jul 14, 2022
I have been waiting for my combo card since September 01, I called them on July 01 to expedite, the officer told me that they would contact me in 07 days. but i'm still waiting
d
dub bikerJul 14, 2022
oh no. No money was involved at all. I started the process by calling a live agent. Then they created a expedite request for me.
A
AJ BJul 14, 2022
oh that’s great. so what proof did they ask you for?
d
dub bikerJul 14, 2022
They didn’t ask for any specific proof. I explained to them. that I would lose my job and lose my income. This would cause severe financial loss to my family. I provided bills, my paystub, etc to them.
A
AJ BJul 14, 2022
ok. thanks. I already called and talked to an agent to expedite it.. Now I will wait. fingers crossed.

Hello Dub. Any updates?

John RICHARDSJul 28, 2022
Hey family. So there’s some good news from NBC. Beginning July this year, NBC commenced waiving interviews for family based Marriage Green cards applications, something that is very strange. Reason being, I’m told, is due to the over 9 million backlog cases pending with them. Also, they resolved to release more conditional green cards (2years) to applicants without interview once all documentations submitted are overwhelmingly convincing and show clear and genuine marriage. Once these interviews are waived, the hope is they can buy time to clear backlogs and hold future interview with applicant at the end of their conditional green cards. In short, two interviews (Before approving green cards and after two years of approving green cards) is a total waste of time, resources during these backlog moments and lack of staffing. Today, I called USCIS to check in on my case and the guy took his time and explained to me the process and changes. I was shocked when he told me my interview has been waived since July 1, 2022. I had been awaiting for interview sechdule since May 26, 2022. I am yet to submit my medical as well since May 26, following a courtesy letter they sent. The guy told me I will have to wait for a decison. I asked him why the decison to waived my interview isn’t reflected on my account or online, he replied, it will not. Not all actions taken are reflected on line or account. ONLY decison made are posted. So, I encourage all those with pending cases awaiting interview with PD date NOV to DEC 2021, to call USCIS and ask about interview status. You might be one of the lucky ones. I’m still in shocked by this news. Can someone tell me what next now that interview has been waived and my medical is yet to be delivered to them? PD 12/06/21 Processing Center: NBC FO: Philadelphia Type: Family Based Note: USCIS is currently focusing on Employment Based Green Card applications to avoid thousands of visas made available by congress don’t expire. These visas are set to expire by Sept 30, 2022. So, that’s where the focus is right now. However, other applications are still being handle, but slower. Hopefully, it might pick up after Sept.
