485 approved but card was never mailed
my spouse and I got “new card is being produced” on the 26th of July
our status changed to “case approved” on the 27th
then his status went to “card mailed/tracking/delivered” etc.. I am still at “Case approved”. Looks like for most people, their status changes to “card is mailed” in less than 48 hours… anyone had similar isssue?
I know I can apply for docs and travel with approval letter and with a stamp from infopass, I am just curious if I am only one with card never mailed , and why this could have happened 😭

I have the same status as case was approved from last week plus and there are multiple people who’s case was approved but card not mailed yet so you are not the only one

same here case was approved on 29 but after that I didn’t hear anything 😓

my case was approved and new card was produced on Friday 29th, I’ll let you know if changes to card mailed this week. A lot of people told me to wait even for a week so be patient.

usps will pick it up from Uscis and you will get the tracking number

update here - one week later the case status went back to “new card is being produced”
July 26 - new card is being produced
July 27 - case approved
August 2 - new card is being produced
hopefully it’s a good sign and I should see “mailed” status soon.

@Iryna I am applying alone, but we are not the only one there are lot of people who are on same situation as us so all we can do is I guess wait.

hi Iryna! in my case it has been like this:
new card is being produced 07-29
case was approved 07-29
the card was mailed to me 08-02
the card was picked up by USPS with the tracking number 08-03
the card is supposed to be here on Saturday.

thanks, that’s the timeline most people see, similar for my spouse, but I am stuck back at “new card being produced” since Monday

ok, what I would do is to call with your case # to USCIS and talk to an agent who can tell you if it will change soon. some offices are more chaotic than others
