hello fam,
I have my pending VAWA since Oct 22, it’s almost 4 years . How is it going to effect us with the new USCIsS policy?
I have my EAD for the next 4 years.
I have filled concurrent 360 and 485.
Do we as all the VAWA folks needs to be worried or not?I have read split answers online and as confused as everyone .
please advice .

Has anyone with an October 2021 priority date been approved? I am exhausted from waiting. I’ve already submitted a case inquiry, and the only response I got was to keep waiting. EB-3, no experience. California service center/San Diego.

Hi everyone,
I applied for adjustment of status through marriage in 2020, but my case was denied in april 2025, 5 years later, after my interview, because of issues related to my abusive husband.
In August 2025, I filed a VAWA case and received receipt notices and biometrics notices for my I-485, work permit, and travel document.
A couple of months later, I received an NTA saying I stayed in the U.S. beyond my authorized parole period after September 18, 2023, even though my previous immigration case had been pending before the denial.
Should I be worried? I already have a lawyer, but I would appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar experience.

Has anyone experienced this with an RFE response?
Hi guys, I have a question because I’m really stressed about my case.
I received the physical RFE letter around March 11, and my lawyer mailed the response on April 9 with overnight shipping. USCIS later updated my case saying they received the RFE response on April 14.
I thought I sent it within the deadline, but USCIS received it a few days later. Has anyone had a similar situation before? Did it affect your case or cause a denial?

RTD Category Issue!
Hi, everyone,
Today I received my Refugee Travel Document after waiting 14 months. However, I noticed that the Class/Category field still shows “ASYLEE,” even though I became a Lawful Permanent Resident on April 15, 2026, before the RTD was issued. It seems inconsistent, and I am unsure whether this could cause any issues in the future.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any advice on what I should do? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Master Hearing
Has anybody had a master hearing with judge John Paul Fucetola in Sterling Virginia?
I close my asylum case with uscis, they said I won’t be issued a NTA. I have the close notice. My Vawa still pending. It looks like they open back my asylum case and close it back just to issue me Notice to Apear in front of the Judge.
I even don’t know what to do or where to start.

I apply for vawa full packet Jan 6 I have my work permit as of last week , my travel permit is still pending is anyone in this timeline ?
my concern is it has been since Jan 9 for my biometric on my travel document because they used my biometrics from Biden PIP , I received my work permit last week but the travel permit says I’m 10 out of 212 waiting on here and I don’t understand what that means either ,
My I‑130 Approval Timeline
February 8 – Submitted my I‑130 petition (Petition for Alien Relative)
April 24 – Received a notification that my case was still processing.
May 20 – Case approved by USCIS 🎉
May 23 – Case transferred to the Department of State for the next stage.
It’s been a journey of patience and persistence. Seeing the approval notice after months of waiting was such a relief, and now the case is moving forward to the Department of State. For anyone still waiting, hang in there , every small update means progress!

My timeline
I am J-1 scholar, Submitted my I-140 (EB2-NIW) Jan 19, 2024 (PD). I-140 approved Sept 30, 2025. Submitted I-485 and I-765 for myself and three family members Oct 27, 2025. Biometrics done in November for kids and ours in December 16, 2025. Silent updates on EAD were March 10, 2026 and still pending. Silent updates on I-485 on April 14, May 12, 14, 18, 21, 22. Aprroved for three members, my little daughter case been in active review with a RFE. AlhamduLILLAH.
